Bloomy can work on a schedule, not only when you chat
This release turns Bloomy from an assistant you chat with into one that runs routine work for you on a cadence. You describe an outcome in plain language, choose how often it runs, and Bloomy gathers results from your connected data and emails you a summary with a link to continue in chat. Alongside it, Bloomy now answers engineering questions in line with the Engineering Insights dashboards, and Usage Insights gains new ways to read Activity Over Time.
What's new
Bloomy Tasks and Reminders
Bloomy Tasks schedules AI runs for research, reporting, and follow-ups, and brings your automations and your personal to-do list into one place.
- Schedule Bloomy to run daily, weekly, monthly, or once, drawing on your connected tools, call recordings, knowledge base, and Abloomify OKRs, assessments, and capacity data
- Each run emails you a clean summary with a link to continue the work in chat
- Start from about 35 ready-made templates across development, sales, marketing, product, operations, leadership, people, data, and personal productivity, browsable by area, connected tool, or cadence
- A new Tasks and Reminders page collects Bloomy automations and personal to-dos, with pause, resume, Run now, past runs, priorities, due dates, and board or list views
- Ask Bloomy in chat to schedule a task or set a reminder, and a morning digest email brings your reminders due today, OKRs, and assessments into one message
On-time, reliable task delivery
Scheduled runs land when they should and never double up.
- Scheduled tasks are delivered on time rather than up to an hour late
- One-time tasks that are skipped for a run are retried the next cycle instead of disappearing
- Paused tasks stay paused, and expired one-time tasks stay visible so you can see their status and revive them
- A run that has already emailed you never sends the same email twice, even after a retry
- Failed runs show a clear Failed status instead of appearing stuck or silently succeeding
Engineering answers in Bloomy
Bloomy now answers engineering questions using the same definitions as the Engineering Insights dashboards.
- Ask Bloomy about DORA tiers, PR flow, AI adoption, and code activity, and it answers in line with the dashboards for any date range
- Bloomy reads current CI and security state directly from GitHub, labeled as of now, alongside historical context from your knowledge base
- DORA metrics honor the production workflows and repositories you configure, so inferred delivery events match how your team actually ships
- Deployment drill-downs name the workflow behind each event, and DORA trends and logs can be filtered by date range
- Bloomy and the dashboards now share one set of DORA band and PR size definitions, so the same question returns a consistent tier or bucket
Clearer Activity Over Time in Usage Insights
The Activity Over Time chart lets you choose exactly which slice of screen time you are looking at.
- Switch between Total, Productive plus Neutral, and Productive Only, with the chart, its title, and the axis updating instantly
- Compare focused, high-value time against total tracked time in the same view
- Hide a category from the legend and the breakdown totals recalculate to match exactly what is on screen
Who benefits
- Team leads and managers: schedule Bloomy to summarize activity, brief you each morning, and follow up on routine work, with results in your inbox
- Engineering and delivery leaders: ask Bloomy DORA, CI, and PR questions and get answers that match the Engineering Insights dashboards
- Individuals: keep automations and personal reminders in one place, and let Bloomy create reminders from chat
- Admins: enable Tasks per company and per user in Roles and Permissions, with each person's Bloomy limited to their own tasks and reminders
- Anyone reviewing screen time: read Activity Over Time as total, productive plus neutral, or productive only
Try it
- Open the new Tasks and Reminders page to create a Bloomy automation or add a personal reminder
- Start from a template in the automation library, then adjust the wording and the schedule
- Ask Bloomy in chat to schedule a recurring task or set a reminder
- Ask Bloomy an engineering question, such as your team's DORA tier or current CI health
- Use the view selector in Usage Insights, Activity Over Time to switch between total and productive time
