Cleaner availability context in Usage Insights
This release improves how managers read employee activity alongside availability. Usage Insights now keeps time off visible when it overlaps the selected reporting range, so activity patterns are easier to interpret without checking another system.
What's new
Time off that spans the selected range stays visible
Usage Insights now includes approved time off when it overlaps the selected dates, even if the leave started before the range being reviewed.
- Managers get a more complete view of availability during the selected period
- Activity dips are easier to separate from planned leave
- Longer time off periods stay visible where they matter most
Cleaner context for reviewing employee activity
The activity view now gives teams a clearer connection between usage patterns and availability context.
- Reviewers can interpret activity alongside time away
- Team availability discussions need less manual calendar checking
- Workforce planning gets a cleaner source of context during review cycles
Broader device agent coverage
Device agent rollout support is expanding across more desktop environments, helping teams plan coverage with greater confidence.
- Cross-platform device coverage is easier to manage
- Device activity programs can support mixed operating environments
- Rollout planning gets clearer signals as teams expand coverage
Who benefits
- Managers reviewing activity: see availability context where activity is analyzed
- People and operations teams: reduce follow-up questions about whether an activity dip reflects planned time away
- IT and rollout owners: plan device agent coverage across more employee device types
Try it
- Open Usage Insights and select a range that overlaps a longer time off period
- Review employee activity with availability context side by side
- Use the updated device coverage signals when planning broader desktop rollout
